So. This journal is now officially the only journal I use for posting things - fandom and non-fandom related - although if you are my fandom friend, I will keep you friended by the other journal, simply because it makes my flist less chaotic. None of this journal is friend's locked, so don't be offended if I de-friend you here and not there, it's merely to reduce the sheer amount of posts I go through, because normally when I read this journal's friend's page it's not for fandom reasons.

For everyone that I've been hiding this big, dirty secret from (haha), I am a huge dork. I love Harry Potter, and Supernatural. I love them so much that I write about them on a regular basis. I am not ashamed of this, I just didn't want to clutter up your friend's list with stuff you didn't want to read, and I will not be offended if you don't.

Whew. Now that that's out of the way...

I cannot pimp lumos_sorting enough. I just started a debate about whether the things JKR says in interviews should be considered "canon", for those people who believe in "canon" at all - personally, I think it's a bit stupid to assign that word to Harry Potter, when it really should be reserved for important things like, y'know, the Bible. JKR IS NOT GOD, OKAY. SORRY TO BURST YOUR LITTLE BUBBLES.

That said, I do respect the books. They make my imagination go crazy. That's why I dork about them, and play around with the characters, and discuss the finer plot points with my fellow dorks. Which is why none of it should be set in stone, because it's no fun that way.




On a completely non-fandom related note, I really hate being female today.

I have three textbook chapters to read and a lab to prepare for. I have two soccer games in the next two days, and I'm already bruised from the one today (my shin is going to be beautifully black and blue tomorrow).

I have made myself a promise to take better care of myself this block: i.e. be in bed by midnight, eat properly, exercise more. Already working on the last two, the first one isn't going so well. But I'm physically exhausted from soccer, so that should be easier tonight... and I'm going to get as much of my homework done as I can.

This class is going to kick my ass, even with those precautions, so don't be surprised if you don't hear from me much these next 3.5 weeks.
